Things sql_bind can do:
Provide dynamic updating of the nameserver tables without requiring a restart.
Allow non-root users to update the nameserver tables.
Allow admins (or users) to host a dynamic dns site.
Things sql_bind cannot do:
Interface with bind 8.1.x.
Allow you to forget about arpa (reverse dns) tables.
